Former El Cerrito High School standout Charlize Pope played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former El Cerrito High School standout Charlize Pope’s current collegiate team the Lewis & Clark Pioneers lost 1-10 against the Chapman Panthers in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Del Smith Stadium at 5:10 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Chapman Panthers in the tournament.

The Lewis & Clark Pioneers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 5:10 p.m. at Del Smith Stadium.
