Mark DeSaulnier, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 10th district since 2015, posted a series of tweets on April 9, 2026, addressing national politics, election security, and local transit concerns.

DeSaulnier has served in Congress since replacing George Miller in 2015 and previously held positions in the California State Assembly and Senate as well as on the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1952 and currently residing in Concord at age 71, DeSaulnier graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a BA in 1974.
