He tweeted: “I’m sitting in my DC office waiting as Republicans enter their 16th hour of trying to ram through their reckless budget over Democrats’ objections that would strip health care from millions in our communities and add trillions to the deficit.” He indicated plans to go live while waiting for developments.
The following day, on May 22, DeSaulnier conveyed his sorrow over a tragic event involving embassy staff members.
