Mark DeSaulnier, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 10th district since 2015, recently shared updates and greetings with constituents through a series of social media posts.
On April 1, 2026, DeSaulnier invited the public to participate in a virtual town hall featuring guests from Stand Together Contra Costa and the UC Berkeley Labor Center. He wrote, “It’s not too late to join today’s virtual town hall! If you haven’t RSVP’d, you can still join us at 4:00 p.m. on our YouTube livestream: https://t.co/FuON3Ysnuq Along with expert special guests from Stand Together Contra Costa and the UC Berkeley Labor Center, I’ll share updates” (posted April 1, 2026).
The following day, DeSaulnier extended Passover greetings to his constituents and others across the country. On April 2, he posted, “Chag Sameach to all celebrating here in CA-10 and around the country! Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful Passover holiday. https://t.co/OItYxhnaVl”.
Also on April 2, DeSaulnier described his visit with local law enforcement in Orinda. He stated, “Today I had a great visit and ride along with the Orinda Police Department where we discussed how their police force is working to protect the lives and property of the people they serve. Thanks to Sergeant McMillen and Officer Baker for a great ride along and even better https://t.co/0uLCr09Py9”.
DeSaulnier has served as representative for California’s 10th district since succeeding George Miller in 2015. Prior to his congressional tenure, he held positions in both chambers of California’s legislature as well as on the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1952, DeSaulnier graduated from College of the Holy Cross in 1974 with a BA and currently resides in Concord.
