On March 19, DeSaulnier posted about a meeting with students from Los Medanos College: “I welcomed students from Los Medanos College to my office in Washington, D.C. yesterday. DeSaulnier has represented California’s 10th District in Congress since succeeding George Miller in 2015. He previously served in the California State Assembly (2006-2008), the California Senate (2008-2015), and on the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors (1994-2006). Born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1952, DeSaulnier is currently based in Concord and holds a BA from College of the Holy Cross (1974).
