Occidental Tigers, with former Ygnacio Valley High School standout Antonio Vazquez on the roster, were defeated 13-11 by the Puget Sound Loggers in their NCAA Division III baseball game held Friday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m.
Anderson Field hosted the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Pitching for the Tigers, Vazquez gave up three earned runs in 1.2 innings, tallying three walks and a strikeout.
Occidental will face Puget Sound Loggers again Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at Anderson Field.
