On Saturday, March 29, former San Ramon Valley High School standout Paige McLeod’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.
The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Flames this season.
The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. at Petersen Hotels Field against Bradley Braves.
