Mark DeSaulnier, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 10th district, shared several updates on social media recently. His posts covered topics ranging from transgender rights to his participation in government ethics discussions.

On November 20, 2024, DeSaulnier expressed solidarity with the transgender community on Transgender Day of Remembrance. He stated, "On #TransgenderDayofRemembrance, I join my fellow allies in remembering the lives of transgender people taken from us in acts of violence this year. As a member of the @EqualityCaucus, I’m committed to ending violence and discrimination against the transgender community."

Later that day, DeSaulnier announced an upcoming live session on Facebook scheduled for 5:00 p.m., where he planned to provide updates from Washington and address questions related to recent elections. He posted, "Join us around 5:00 p.m. tonight as I go live on Facebook to provide an update from Washington and to answer some recent questions we’ve received about the election."

In another post made shortly after midnight on November 21, DeSaulnier mentioned his role in the Ethics Committee and emphasized his commitment to transparency and accountability in government during an appearance on MSNBC with Katy Tur. He noted that while he could not discuss specific details due to committee rules, he reaffirmed his principles by stating, "As a member of the Ethics Committee, I am prohibited from discussing today’s meeting, but I joined @KatyTurNBC @MSNBC to reiterate my belief in transparency and accountability in government."
