Mark DeSaulnier, who has been serving as a U.S. Representative for California's 10th District since 2015, recently shared updates through social media reflecting his engagement in various local activities. Each tweet, conveying a personal or professional moment, captures a glimpse of his active involvement with his constituents.

On April 23, 2025, DeSaulnier expressed joy at the arrival of spring while celebrating Earth Day. In his tweet, he shared, "Enjoying the spring weather outside with North! From all of the furry friends on Team DeSaulnier, we’re wishing you a happy Earth Day."

Later that day, Representative DeSaulnier hosted high school students participating in the Congressional Art Competition. In recognition of the students' achievements, he tweeted, "Today we welcomed high schoolers who participated in this year’s Congressional Art Competition and community members at the Moraga Art Gallery to celebrate the creativity and hard work of the students and highlight their incredible original artwork. Congratulations to Amber Ding." This highlights his role in showcasing young talent within his community.

Continuing his day, DeSaulnier attended a meeting with the City Council of San Ramon. His tweet portrayed his commitment to local affairs: "Thanks to @CityofSanRamon for having me at their City Council meeting tonight to continue the conversation about supporting local cities in Congress. At these meetings, I am always reminded of Tip O’Neill’s refrain that 'all politics is local.'" This underscores his ongoing dialogue with local stakeholders.
