On Saturday, March 22, former San Ramon Valley High School standout Sofia Bowes’ current collegiate team the California Golden Bears lost 59-46 against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Galen Center, this was the first game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs during the championship.

Sofia Bowes’ hometown is San Ramon and game position is guard.
