Mark DeSaulnier, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 10th district, has recently shared his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his concerns about corporate safety practices, actions by prominent individuals affecting government operations, and the potential impact of administrative decisions on community programs.

On February 4, 2025, DeSaulnier expressed grave concerns regarding corporate safety oversight. He stated that "Without more aggressive oversight it is not a question of whether deaths will occur, but when given the company’s disregard for safety (2/2)."

Later that day, he criticized Elon Musk's attempts to influence government operations. DeSaulnier tweeted that "Unelected, wealthy donor Elon Musk is trying to dismantle government departments & fire federal employees who keep us safe & distribute funding for programs Americans rely on. His actions are baseless & dangerous. We will continue to fight this tooth & nail however & wherever we can."

On February 5, 2025, DeSaulnier highlighted the importance of maintaining funding for community programs amidst threats from the new administration. He wrote about meeting with First 5 Contra Costa to ensure continued support for essential services: "As the new Administration continues to threaten funding for programs that feed hungry kids, I met with @First5CoCo to discuss the importance of ensuring these programs receive the funding Congress has already allocated so they can keep serving our community."
