Mark DeSaulnier, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 10th district, has expressed concerns over several recent administrative actions in a series of tweets. His commentary addresses key issues affecting education, aviation safety, and vulnerable populations.

On March 4, 2025, DeSaulnier voiced his opposition to the Administration's intentions regarding the Department of Education. He stated that "The Administration has been clear about its desire to eliminate the Department of Education, leaving tens of millions of kids, teachers, and their families out to dry." He highlighted that public schools in his district rely on federal funding for quality education.

In another tweet on the same day, DeSaulnier addressed aviation safety as a bipartisan issue. He mentioned his collaboration with both Republican and Democratic colleagues on @TransportDems to implement reforms for safer flying conditions. "I spoke at today’s @TransportDems hearing against the Administration’s cuts to the FAA," he noted.

On March 5, 2025, DeSaulnier introduced Alisa Rosillo as his guest for a joint address to Congress. He discussed with @KQED how "the Administration’s actions in its first 6 weeks are targeting vulnerable populations," emphasizing concerns about impacts on the disability community.
