Mark DeSaulnier, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 10th district, has recently shared his views on social media regarding significant national issues. In a series of tweets, DeSaulnier addresses concerns about potential cuts to Medicaid and advocates for voting rights legislation.

On March 5, 2025, DeSaulnier tweeted about an interview he had with KTVU alongside Alisa Rosillo, a Concord resident and advocate for the disability community. He expressed concern that "the President’s agenda threatens to cut programs like Medicaid." The tweet can be accessed here.

Later that day, DeSaulnier posted another tweet discussing his appearance on NBC Bay Area with Rosillo. He reiterated their discussion about the President's plan to reduce funding for programs such as Medicaid, which many families depend on for health care. This post is available here.

In another tweet on the same day, DeSaulnier referenced civil rights leader John Lewis by stating that "the right to vote [is] precious, almost sacred." He announced that House Democrats are introducing the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to safeguard voting rights against extremist threats. The full tweet can be viewed here.
