Mark DeSaulnier, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 10th district, shared updates on his recent activities through a series of tweets. DeSaulnier, who has been serving in Congress since 2015, discussed various engagements that highlight his commitment to healthcare and community support.

On December 11, 2024, DeSaulnier welcomed leaders from Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and UCSF to his office in Washington D.C. He stated: "I welcomed leaders from Lucile Packard Children’s and @UCSF, some of the hospitals providing quality specialized pediatric care in the Bay Area, to my DC office this afternoon where we discussed ways to support children's hospitals in providing equitable care for all patients."

Later that day, he visited the new South Family Justice Center facility in Danville.
