On February 17, 2025, Mark DeSaulnier announced an upcoming town hall meeting in response to significant interest from the previous session. He stated: "Following an overwhelming response to our last town hall, I’m hosting another one this Thursday to hear your concerns about the new Administration’s threats to federal programs you rely on and provide an update on what Democrats are doing to fight back."

On February 19, 2025, he celebrated Black History Month by spotlighting Liberty High School's Black Student Union in Brentwood. He remarked: "Our next Black Student Union spotlight is at Liberty High School in Brentwood where students had the chance to share what Black excellence means to them. Happy Black History Month!"
