Mark DeSaulnier discusses local initiatives and collaborations on February 20

Mark DeSaulnier, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 10th District, recently shared updates on various community engagements via his social media platform. DeSaulnier has been in office since 2015, following a distinguished career in both state and local government roles.

On February 20, 2025, DeSaulnier highlighted the work of Contra Costa Family Justice Center by visiting their new location in Danville. He stated that "Across the County, @CCFamilyJustice provides critical services to victims of interpersonal violence including domestic violence & sexual assault. I toured the brand-new South County location in Danville today, which will allow the organization to serve more clients along the 680..."

Later that day, he acknowledged Diablo Valley College's efforts to improve accessibility for students through federal funding. In his post, he mentioned "Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill was recently recognized for outstanding efforts to make learning materials more accessible to students, thanks in part to $1 million in federal funding that I helped secure. Additionally, DeSaulnier attended a city council meeting in Martinez following a fire incident at the Martinez Refining Company. He expressed his commitment by stating "I attended last night's @cityofmartinez Council meeting to share info on how our team can support the City, especially in the wake of the fire at the Martinez Refining Company. I look forward to our continued partnership to serve the people of Martinez."
