On February 14, 2025, DeSaulnier extended Valentine's Day wishes to his constituents in CA-10. He noted that his team delivered handmade valentines from elementary school students to the Martinez VA Medical Center and Veterans Service Office as a gesture of gratitude towards local veterans. "Happy Valentine’s Day #CA10! Our team delivered these handmade valentines from elementary schoolers to the Martinez VA Medical Center and Veterans Service Office to thank our local veterans."

Later on February 15, 2025, he conveyed additional Valentine's Day greetings on behalf of "North," extending warm wishes to everyone in the district. "North is wishing everyone in CA-10 a very Happy Valentine’s Day!"

In another post on February 15, 2025, DeSaulnier addressed concerns regarding the impact of new administrative actions led by Elon Musk on residents of CA-10. He mentioned plans to highlight stories from affected individuals, including a federal employee commuting between San Francisco and Tri-Valley. "The new Administration’s actions, many spearheaded by unelected billionaire & DOGE head Elon Musk, are impacting our neighbors here in CA-10 & we’ll be highlighting their stories."
